![]() ![]() I believe the tanks and front fender are original. The rear fender, tool box, correct one year chain guard, and generator shroud are reproductions. ![]() There are a few damaged fins on the heads and cylinders but it survived quite well. The engine needs to be rebuilt but is complete with the correct carburetor. The front end is newly built with new bushing and springs. I had the frame and front end powder coated along with all the black parts. The man I bought it from was restoring it for a local attorney, it sat in his shop for a couple of years and he managed to ruin the wheels by letting them rust so I had a new set of 18" wheels built by Jerry Greer's. THE RESTORED BIKE PICTURED IS NOT MINE AND IT IS NOT THE BIKE I AM SELLING This is an original matching numbers Indian Chief with the frame number of 346383 and engine number of CDF383. THE COMPLETE BIKE SHOWN IS AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT THIS BIKE COULD LOOK LIKE AND WAS THE COMPLETED GOAL OF THIS RESTORATION. Titles are not that hard to get in most states. The Indian was sold to me with the understanding that I would get a clear Indiana title, I picked up the Indian but never got the title. ![]() I was going to Indiana to see some friends so I figured I would pick it up then. I found this bike in Indiana last summer and purchased it over the phone. ![]()
